Ed
Faddies - House Staff
Ed Faddies is happy to be attending his 6th CANJAC as House
Staff. Ed has been a Junior Achievement volunteer for some 13
years where he has held several positions with Junior Achievement
of Hamilton and Junior Achievement of Metro Toronto including bank
staff, Project Business Consultant and Company Program Assistant.
Before starting his volunteer activities for JA, Ed was an
achiever for 3 years in Hamilton. His most recent role at JA is
Tuesday Night Staff Leader for the Company Program at JA of
Hamilton. Ed is also a Team Leader for the Ontario Junior
Achievement Conference (OJAC) that is held in February each year.
Ed is looking forward to another exciting year at JA!
Ed has been employed with Amdocs Canada for 5 years and has held
several roles. His current position as a Senior Group Manager of
Professional Services requires him to lead a team of IT
professionals in the successful implementation of IP billing
solutions around the world.
Previous to his role at Amdocs, Ed credits his JA experience with
giving him the courage and experience to start and operate his own
Internet consultancy and service provision business. Ed and his
partners operated the business for 3 years and even though he
decided to enter the “corporate world” again, the business is
still successful today. Previous to his entrepreneurial
experience, Ed also held positions at the Royal Bank of Canada in
Customer Service and Systems and Technology.
In his spare time Ed enjoys camping, going to the cottage, and
SCUBA diving.
