Jo-Ann has been involved with
Junior Achievement since grade 9. She spent four years in Company
Program in Newfoundland and won several local and national awards and
two scholarships. As an achiever she attended CANJAC ’90 in Waterloo,
ON. She later became a Company Program volunteer advisor and had the
opportunity to attend JAAC in Fredericton, NB in 1998. Jo-Ann has since
moved to Calgary, AB and was hired to manage Company Program and assist
with other JA programs in Southern Alberta. She attended WESJAC in
Edmonton, AB in 2000 and organized and hosted WESJAC in Calgary this
year. After having attended CANJAC 2000 in Ottawa last year as House
Staff, Jo-Ann was eager to become involved again this year. She is
currently hired on contract to help coordinate CANJAC 2001 – being
hosted at the University of Calgary! Jo-Ann plans to move to Halifax, NS
this fall, and hopefully become involved with JA again as a volunteer.
