Though an Achiever at heart, Jennifer never had the opportunity to participate in the program. Fortunately, Jen caught the JA bug and is now a volunteer with JA Ottawa-Carleton. This is her second CANJAC conference, and she is excited to be back for what is promising to be the best CANJAC ever!!!

Jen is currently a Carleton University student, completing her honours degree in Mass Communication and Public Affairs with a minor in Psychology. Jen's first love is dance and in pursuit of her dream, she has studied at both the professional and pre-professional level across North America, in such places as New York, Long Island, Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa. She has performed in such productions as The Nutcracker, in the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy, A Chorus Line, 42nd Street, Crazy For You, Me & My Girl, Anything Goes, as well as producing the musical Oliver this past spring. Jen is a fully accredited member of the Royal Academy of Dance and teaches ballet, jazz, tap, modern and hip hop in Ottawa, Ontario. Jen is currently laying the foundation to launch the first full time jazz company (JAZZ et al.) in Central Canada.
