Junior Achievement of Canada
On April 3, 2001 John joined Junior Achievement to
lead us in the execution of our strategic plan.
John brings an outstanding record of
accomplishment to his new position.
John most recently was the CEO of The Law Society of Upper
Canada, and prior to that held positions as President of Niagara
College, and Vice President of Finance and Administration at both Humber
College and Georgian College. John
has also taught management programs at Seneca, Humber, and Georgian
Colleges. In addition to
this strong academic administration background he held managerial
positions with The Hudson’s Bay Company and Xerox of Canada.
He has a strong financial background and is
anxious to work with the Charters to assist them to raise delivery funds
and support the CBHF Foundation in its mandate to raise sustainable
funding for Research and Development of Programming, Awareness Building,
and the Technology required to keep JA the leader of business education
for the children of Canada.
John’s
management style can best be described as a “coach” who makes
decisions based on the best interest of students. John looks forward to
applying his background and experience to assist Junior Achievement to
reach its full potential.
