“The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them” ~ George Bernard Shaw

CANJAC incorporates many of the same principles established in the JA Company Program.  The interaction between the Achievers and business community is further enhanced through the relationship of the CANJAC delegates and the Corporate Sponsor Resources.

Throughout the conference week, the delegates will research a business-related issue, with the assistance of volunteer staff resources from across Canada.  Each working group of 20 - 30 delegates will interact with guest resources from a corporate sponsor to investigate the sponsor’s business with respect to marketing, human resources and technology.  The provision of guest speakers allows the groups to enter into dialogue about the topic and explore the effects of both internal and external factors on the activities and operations of Canadian businesses.  Delegates will also have an opportunity to explore career opportunities and develop a personal plan to assist them in reaching personal goals.

Based on the knowledge obtained throughout the week, the delegates will prepare a ten-minute House Presentation that addresses the conference question.  Presentations will be made at the final General Meeting  and will involve representatives of each of the working groups (Houses) in a dialogue with business guests and fellow delegate participants attending the meeting.
