 Junior Achievement of Guam has been offering JA programs since 1976.  Currently, thirty-four corporate sponsors provide funding, company advisers, directors and volunteers.  Guam, a U.S. Territory, has a population of 150,000 with English and Chamorro as its official languages.

Junior Achievement of Guam offers the Company Program and Personal Economics.  The goal of Junior Achievement in Guam is to provide the youth of Guam with opportunities to learn how to achieve and become successful business leaders in the future. 
When Spanish explorer Ferdinand Magellan landed on Guam’s shores in 1521, he found the island occupied by the Chamorros, a peaceful matriarchal society. Spanish missionaries renamed the island as “Marianas” (after Spain’s Queen Maria Anna) and then claimed it for Spain.
